Inner Star’s mission is to utilize the performing arts to engage, educate, and elevate youth and seniors; while promoting healthy choices, sexual assault prevention, and socioeconomic equality.
ISPAN will implement Wellness Programs for the Community by implementing
programs that specifically help those who are in need of obtaining and
maintaining wellness: healthy exercise, weight loss, and exercise for disease
prevention (and/or upkeep).The program
will include offering classes such as:
-Healthy Kids - classes for
children in need of weight loss for health reasons
-Get FIT Northern Nevada -
classes for adults in need of weight loss for health reasons
-Dance Against Disease - classes
for people who suffer from certain health impairments, such as diabetes.
ISPAN will work with local support groups within hospitals,
Registered Nurses, WCSD counselors, teachers and principals and other community
organizations that focus on health,wellness and disease prevention. Classes will either be offered at an
extremely low rate, or paid for with scholarships through grants and
fundraising.
